Wednesday October 10, 2012 Momentum Jaguar joined Texas Children's Hospital for their annual Bad Pants Gold Open to help raise funds for their Newborn center. Also to spice things up, Momentum Jaguar donated a new Jaguar XJ as an hole in one prize.

years Man & Woman of the Year event. Each year, in communities
across the country, dynamic, passionate candidates engage in a spirited
ten-week fundraising competition to earn The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society's "Man & Woman of the Year" titles, by raising funds for
blood cancer research. Our exciting 2012 campaign will start with a
kick-ff event at Saks Fifth Avenue in late March. The fundraising
competition will culminate with a Grand Finale Gala at River Oaks
Country Club which will include a celebratory dinner, drinks,
entertainment, and a fabulous auction. The Candidates
The ideal candidates are community and business leaders who are philanthropic, ambitious, socially active, resourceful and passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients and families suffering from blood cancers. Their unstoppable ambition drives them to fund raise in a very large-scale capacity with record-breaking results.
History
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man & Woman of the Year campaign began in 1990 in San Francisco to honor John Spencer, a valued employee at Hastings Clothier in San Francisco and a Society volunteer. Spencer died of leukemia at the age of 39. It was in John's memory that Hastings began supporting the Society's Northern California Chapter with the San Francisco Man & Woman of the Year event. Now, more than 40 Man & Woman of the Year campaigns occur across the nation, making this a highly visible fundraising program.
The Reason
Although someone new is diagnosed with a blood cancer every four minutes, there is great hope for the future. LLS is the world's largest national voluntary health organization dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improving the quality of life of patients and families.

Momentum Jaguar returns as a very proud sponsor of The Spirit of Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show is The CAC's largest fundraising event each year. This premier Houston luncheon has grown to be one of the most highly anticipated events to attend every spring. The Spirit of Spring Luncheon includes a reception, auction, keynote speaker and showcases an incredible runway of spring fashions, all while helping to raise funds that directly support programs that The CAC offers to child victims of abuse. October 12, 2011 - Momentum Jaguar once again was a proud Hole in One Sponsor and supporter of the Texas Children Bad Pants Golf Tournament. This year Momentum had their very own Momentum Team to join in on the fun. Players were greeted by Texas Children volunteers who were giving out some of the best swag available from leather travel bags, to Momentum golf towels the works! It was a great day and even greater event supporting the best Charity golf tournament in the city!

March 13, 2011 - beginning and ending at downtown's Sam Houston Park is the 22nd annual Aids Walk. Aids Walk Houston is the largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser of its kind in Texas. Funds raised will help AFH, and several other HIV/AIDS service organizations, provide housing, testing, food, medical care, prevention education, counseling, pediatric programs and job training to thousands of Houstonians living with or at risk for HIV/AIDS. Thursday, February 3, 2011 - Houston Grand Opera presented the Concert of Arias - The 22nd annual Eleanor McCollum Competition for Young Singers pits the best emerging talents against one another for top honors and was followed by a celebration dinner. Saturday, September 25, 2010 Neiman Marcus hosted the annual Neiman Marcus Stiletto Strut benefiting the Lester and Sue Smith Breast Cancer Center at the Baylor College of Medicine. Guest were treated to a private breakfast and silent auction in the Neiman Marcus Shoe Salon then strutted their stuff around the Galleria making a lap for a great cause. After the "strut" a private fashion show hosted by Neiman's and Holly Moore from Papercity was given showing off the season's latest fall fashions. Monday June 7th 2010 - As some of you read on the front page of the Houston Chronicle on May 29th, they featured an article about recent High School Graduates that excelled despite the odds. Our very own Angelo Medina's daughter Amilda graduated valedictorian from Willowridge High School. She is the first person in her family to go onto college and will be attending the University of St. Thomas in the school's pre-medical program. Today our very own General Manger Ben Dugger congratulated Amilda on her hard work with a new Mac computer to get her started off to college. Center. The Second Annual Cardiac Cup will feature the 8 Goal
Cardiac Cup on the Houston Polo Club's historic Farrish Field. The event
is expected to draw hundreds of people and will be capped off by an
evening reception following the finals. Congenital heart defects are the
most common type of birth defect. Every year they threaten the lives of
more than 35,00 children in the U.S. But for more than fifty years,
Texas Children's Heart Center has been working to combat those
statistics, to improve the diagnosis of children's heart problems and
pioneer new ways to treat them. Celebrating its 82nd year, The Houston
Polo Club has a rich tradition of being involved with community events
and is proud to host this noble event. But we need your help. We promise
